Bronze plates for Severinstrasse in Cologne
In Severinstrasse, visitors will find bronze plates embedded in the pavement. Initially, these were connected to a smartphone app via Bluetooth and offered an interactive experience of the history of the Severin district. Prof. Dr. Thorsten Fröhlich designed them.
As the Bluetooth transmitters were battery-operated, operation was not sustainable. Geo-coordinates are currently replacing this Bluetooth connection. The contents of the app can be found here on this website:

Impressions from my former art gallery on Severin-strasse
The gallery was founded in 1982 and closed in 2021.
Pillar made of Corten steel as an entrance gate for Severinstrasse
Prof. Fröhlich designed the pillar to match the historic gate silhouette at the south end of the Severinstrasse. The design later became the logo of the quarter flags.

Dr. Mark Benecke
In a rare and fascinating session at my studio, I had the chance to capture a close-up portrait of Dr. Mark Benecke—world-renowned forensic biologist and unmistakable personality. The result: an intense, unfiltered glimpse into the mind behind the magnifying glass.
